Your HR software will provide you with evidence of any misconduct by an employee and will be able to you guide through the procedures necessary for disciplinary action. With little human input and therefore much less chance of errors, the software will collate information which could show a pattern of lateness for instance or consistent poor performance.

Obviously, the matter can still be handled discreetly by a manager and the rebuke kept informal if needed but the software will still keep a record of the incident and decision for future use.

However, if the misconduct needs a more formal process then the software will walk you through the formalities from identifying the initial need for action to the reports, letters and final judgement. It will be up-to-date with current legislation and ensure that you act legally in this and any other disciplinary matter.
